ABOUT

Cynthia W. Wilson released her album, “From Singer to Psalmist, Remembering the Journey”, much to the excitement of her already sizable gospel fans. With the album’s success, Cynthia’s exciting gospel sound continues to gain interest from across the world.

This album features her hit songs “It’s Alright” and “Walk with me” The rich, deep and soulful gospel style is the result of a lifetime of musical influences. This album brings back an innovative sound that greatly influenced generations of artist. From the first song until the last song it takes you back to a different era. It’s a chance to remember the journey and all that God has brought us through.

The songs that Cynthia sings on this album are actually a journey through her life; the old flavor is to remember her journey and the influences of her past. What makes this CD unique is how Cynthia took old R&B favorites and made them new gospel hits. Truly, what was old is new again.

Cynthia has been blessed to travel on several occasions abroad and sing at special events, commemorating the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She has sung for the late Coretta Scott King and for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Lanier.   She was also selected to sing for Police Week at the CBP Valor Memorial for Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson and the Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, R. Gil Kerlikowske.

The Department of Homeland Security did a documentary on Cynthia entitled “CBPeople” in which Cynthia was observed sharing her gift at a local retirement center, this documentary was viewed by over 300,000 government employees.

A recent journey took Cynthia to Paris, France to perform at The American Church, as they celebrated their 200th Anniversary as an English-speaking church.
